The Cyber Consulting Lead Tech SME is a senior role supporting the Chief Information Security Officer for Enterprise Technology within the 1st Line of Defence. The role strengthens the organization’s cybersecurity posture through expert advice, technical leadership, and strategic input across the business. It contributes to the development, enhancement, and enforcement of cybersecurity strategies, policies, and frameworks aligned with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

What you need to have to succeed in this role

• Hands-on coding experience in at least one modern programming language, preferably Java or Python
• Strong understanding of secure software development practices and the ability to review, advise on, and contribute to code where necessary
• Proven experience working with cloud environments: AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a solid understanding of cloud security concepts
• Practical experience with Kubernetes, containers, and microservices security, including deployment, configuration, and security workloads
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and practices, including secure architecture, risk management, and control design
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines is desirable
