Junior UX/UI Designer (AI-Native)

Role context

We are looking for an ambitious Junior or early Mid-level Designer who wants to grow in an AI-native environment.

You do not need to be an AI expert, know how to code, or have several years of commercial experience. What matters is curiosity, willingness to experiment, and quick learning, together with already trying to use AI as part of your design process.

You may have tested Lovable, v0, Bolt, Figma Make, Cursor, Claude, or similar tools; built a small app, prototype, landing page, or personal project; or simply enjoy discovering what new tools can do.

You will work alongside experienced UX, UI, and Strategic Designers and learn how to turn briefs, ideas, and user needs into interactive solutions. The goal is not to replace design fundamentals with AI, but to use AI to design faster, smarter, and better.

Scope of services

• Work in project teams alongside experienced UX, UI, and Strategic Designers.
• Help translate briefs, concepts, and user needs into user flows and interactive prototypes.
• Use AI to quickly explore different solutions instead of designing every screen from scratch.
• Experiment with Lovable, v0, Bolt, Figma Make, Cursor, Claude Code, and new market tools.
• Create early versions of flows that can be clicked through, discussed, and developed further.
• Iterate on solutions based on feedback from experienced designers and the project team.
• Think about whole-product behavior, not only individual screens.
• Consider different states, errors, user actions, and edge cases.
• Work in Figma when it is the best tool for the job.
• Develop the ability to combine AI with solid UX and UI fundamentals.
• Gradually build an AI-native workflow.
• Share useful tools, experiments, and learnings with the team.

Over time, you will become increasingly independent in taking a well-defined product problem and turning it into a solid interactive solution.

What we are looking for

• Practical UX/UI or Product Design experience from commercial work, internships, freelance work, university projects, or personal projects.
• Understanding of basic UX principles and ability to think about entire user flows rather than individual screens.
• Good visual sense and understanding of hierarchy, spacing, and interface-design basics.
• Active interest in using AI to improve or speed up the design process.
• Interest in how AI is changing design and willingness to develop in this area.
• Comfort with trying new approaches and learning new tools quickly.
• Openness to feedback and comfort sharing work in progress.
• Ability to explain the reasoning behind design decisions.
• Ability to consider what happens after a user action, not only how an interface element looks.
• Comfortable English communication in a project environment.

You do not need to meet every requirement perfectly. Candidates at the beginning of their career who are already experimenting, building their own projects, and learning quickly are encouraged to apply.

Nice to have

• An AI-built prototype, small app, website, or personal project.
• Experience with Lovable, v0, Bolt, Figma Make, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools.
• Basic knowledge of how websites and digital products are built.
• Basic HTML, CSS, or general front-end concepts.
• Experience working with developers, Product Managers, or researchers.
• Personal projects demonstrating curiosity and initiative beyond work or university.
• Experience experimenting with different AI models and tools.

None of these are mandatory.

What matters more than years of experience

The role values curiosity, learning speed, product thinking, initiative, willingness to experiment, solid design fundamentals, and genuine interest in AI-native design. A small self-built project that you can explain well may be more valuable than a perfectly polished portfolio.

Short video application

Instead of a traditional cover letter, send a short video in English, with a maximum length of 8–10 minutes. A simple screen recording or Loom is sufficient; professional preparation or editing is not required.

Show something you created (around 5 minutes)

Show one project or experiment where you used AI. It can be a prototype, small app, website, university project, personal project, experiment, or something created mainly to learn a new tool.

Briefly explain:

• What you were trying to create.
• Which AI tool you used.
• What AI helped you with.
• What you changed or designed yourself.
• What you learned while working on it.

The project does not need to be commercial or complex; the focus is on your approach.

Tell us what you are learning now (around 3–5 minutes)

Describe the AI tool, workflow, or capability you are currently exploring. Show or explain what caught your attention and what you would like to be able to do with it.

• Editing the recording is not required.
• A commercial AI project is not required.
• Do not show confidential client materials.
• A presentation is not required.
• Small projects are welcome; show something real and explain it in your own words.

Recruitment process

Step 1: Short video
Send your CV, portfolio, and the short video described above.

Step 2: HR screening
Around 30 minutes.

Step 3: Design interview
Around 45 minutes with one of the designers.

Optional: Short practical task
In some cases, you may be asked to complete a short practical task if an additional data point is needed before making a decision.
