SAP HCM/Payroll Consultant (All Genders)

General Information

In the HR IT Solutions area, the Payroll/Time Solutions team provides tools and solutions that support effective payroll processing and time management across the global HR department. The team is seeking an experienced expert for German Payroll.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Manage and process payroll operations in compliance with German regulations, standards, and general/works council agreements.
• Ensure systems accurately calculate and enable timely payment of salaries, taxes, and social contributions.
• Provide expert guidance on German payroll matters to clients and internal teams.
• Stay up to date with payroll legislation changes and ensure system compliance.
• Collaborate with HR System teams and the business to optimize payroll systems and processes.
• Manage German Payroll projects, including planning, execution, and completion within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Drive project milestones, coordinate resources, and oversee project deliverables.
• Support projects and rollouts as an IT Subject Matter Expert for German Payroll and help the business define requirements.

Your Qualifications

• Completed studies in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience managing payroll processes in Germany.
• Knowledge of German labor laws, tax regulations, and social security systems is an advantage.
• Experience with SAP HCM Payroll; SAP Time Management and SAP SuccessFactors Compensation are beneficial.
• Several years of experience implementing HR digitalization projects.
• Programming skills in ABAP/ABAP OO are a plus.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum, Kanban, and JIRA, is beneficial.
• Good understanding of enterprise integration and the challenges of interacting with complex ERP environments is very beneficial.
• Fluent verbal and written Polish communication skills, minimum B2 level.
• English and German fluency, minimum B2 level.
• Ability to read and understand German legal texts and works council agreements available only in German.
