Experienced Test Manager for SAP S/4HANA Implementation

Summary

The Test Manager role is crucial to the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA solutions for logistics operations. The primary goal is to oversee the project's testing phases, ensuring a smooth transition to the new systems while maintaining operational stability.

The project is a strategically important initiative for a logistics site in Sweden. Its objective is to replace existing external warehouse management systems with new standard SAP S/4HANA solutions: SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) and SAP TM (Transportation Management).

The project also includes migrating existing sub-systems and processes to EWM and TM. Consequently, a significant number of system integrations will be affected and require thorough testing to support a stable, successful transition. A wide range of internal and external stakeholders will be involved throughout the testing phases.

The project is currently in the development phase, including unit testing and, for some systems, UAT. The current priority is to establish a clear test strategy and detailed test plan for the remaining project lifecycle.

Skills and Experience

• Experience developing test strategies and test plans, and coordinating end-to-end business and integration testing
• Experience managing testing activities in large-scale SAP implementations
• Experience with SAP EWM and/or SAP TM is a strong advantage
• Strong coordination skills and ability to drive testing activities across site teams, external vendors, and internal teams
• Self-driven and proactive approach to planning, execution, and issue resolution
• Good stakeholder-management and communication skills
• Ability to plan and run tests around a live 24/7 operation, including securing and protecting test windows so testing does not disrupt production
