Lead Oracle Transport Management Consultant

Responsibilities

• Lead knowledge-transition and onboarding activities, ensuring a smooth handover to offshore teams.
• Take ownership of multiple OTM workstreams, delegate tasks, and coordinate delivery.
• Design and establish processes for steady-state support and onboarding.
• Provide system-architecture guidance for configuration and maintenance teams.
• Standardize and optimize OTM solutions across different customers.
• Support implementation and maintenance projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high-quality customer service and delivery excellence.
• Contribute to solution design, system improvements, and continuous optimization.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
• Experience in at least 3 full-lifecycle OTM implementations.
• Strong expertise across OTM modules: shipment planning and execution, freight settlement, sourcing, and fleet management.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, XML, XSL, and BI Publisher.
• Experience in B2B integrations, including EDI and API.
• Strong functional configuration and solution-design capabilities.
• Experience working in both implementation and support environments.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and lead teams effectively.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the 3PL or logistics industry.
• Knowledge of other Order Management or Transport Management systems.
• Background in Computer Science or a related field.
