Rate: 150–200 PLN/hour

Work mode: Hybrid, with on-site presence required approximately 6–8 times per month in Kraków.

Position Overview

As a Production Support Engineer, you will primarily focus on supporting critical billing and payments services across multiple regions.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include L2/L3 production support, service management, quality assurance, security patching, and consultancy. You will also contribute to change management, risk and control, design, testing, and business analysis.

You will play a key part in maintaining service health, stability, and sustainability, working collaboratively within a team where teamwork and communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide production engineering support, maintenance, and service management for billing and payments services.
  • Maintain and manage distributed systems and Linux and Windows servers.
  • Support middleware layers such as Microsoft IIS, in-memory solutions such as Hazelcast, containers on Kubernetes, and cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform.
  • Build and support CI/CD pipelines as part of DevOps-related work.
  • Apply application, business-process, and data intelligence to day-to-day operations and operational processes.
  • Organise and manage change activity, including scoping work, planning implementation, coordinating with impacted interfacing parties, and assessing service and customer impact.
  • Analyse data and build business data intelligence using Microsoft SQL and Oracle.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree and proven experience in Production Support (L2/L3).
  • DevOps experience managing configuration and pipelines.
  • Experience with MS SQL, Oracle DB, Windows Server configuration, Microsoft IIS, Hazelcast, Kubernetes, Docker, and container management on GCP.
  • Knowledge of Linux, Bash, Git, Jenkins, Splunk, virtualization, and containerization.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools including GitHub, Confluence, and Jira.
