Senior Salesforce Developer

New opportunity for a new international Tech Hub emerging from Lisbon.

Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Salesforce Developer to join an international, challenging opportunity. The ideal candidate has extensive Salesforce development experience and a strong understanding of technology best practices, particularly in Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end responsibility for the design, implementation, and unit testing of requirements in the context of Salesforce and/or a functional domain.
• Write documentation, including functional and technical specifications.
• Deliver Salesforce parameterization compliant with requirements and standards.
• Code interfaces within scope.
• Execute unit tests, analyze defects, and implement fixes.
• Define and review test cases.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• At least 5 years of Salesforce development experience with Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.
• Proficiency in data modeling: Data Streams, Data Lake Objects, Data Model Objects, Unified Individual, and Identity Resolution frameworks.
• Proficiency in ingestion: batch ingestion, streaming ingestion, API-based ingestion, external connectors such as S3 and Google BigQuery, token management, and authentication flows.
• Proficiency in transformation: data mapping, Calculated Insights, Transformation Rules, Query Editor using SQL, schema alignment strategies, standardization, and enrichment logic.
• Proficiency in Identity Resolution frameworks: match rules configuration, reconciliation rules, identity stitching strategies, cross-source identity linking, and deterministic and probabilistic approaches.
• Strong GDPR/CCPA compliance knowledge and consent management.
• Secure data access, PII protection, and integration architecture involving real-time triggers/event patterns.
• Proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, WSProxy for dynamic emails and landing pages, SOAP handling, and advanced SQL.
• Skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and email optimization, including responsive and dark-mode compatibility.
• Practical expertise in Email Studio, Web Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Mobile Studio.
• Advanced automation orchestration, error handling, and performance optimization.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, spoken and written.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model, with 2 days per week in the Lisbon office.

Nice to Have

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II certifications.
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification.

Work Model and Schedule

• Hybrid model: 2 days per week in the office and 3 days at home.
• The work schedule provides 12 additional compensation days in addition to normal holiday days. These are fixed days during national holiday periods: 5 days between Christmas and New Year's Eve, 5 days during Easter, and 2 days during Carnival.
• Winter schedule, October to May (8 months): 43 hours per week.
  • Monday to Thursday: 09:00–19:00 (9 hours per day).
  • Friday: 09:00–17:00 (7 hours).
• Summer schedule, June to September (4 months): 39 hours per week.
  • Monday to Thursday: 09:00–18:00 (8 hours per day).
  • Friday: 09:00–17:00 (7 hours).
