Senior Data Operations Administrator

Job Summary

The Senior Data Operations Administrator is fundamentally responsible for managing technical BI operations processes. The role requires accountability for technical decisions within the operations team and collaboration with leadership to ensure efficient delivery of data for reporting. The administrator oversees system monitoring, configuration, and adherence to SLA commitments.

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain and configure operational systems.
• Manage request-handling processes efficiently.
• Schedule jobs and monitor reporting.
• Oversee deployment processes for BI solutions.
• Conduct audits of BI IT processes to maintain standards.

Key Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience within a large enterprise BI setup.
• Minimum of 5 years in BI operations.
• Extensive familiarity with Data Warehousing technologies and concepts.
• Proficient knowledge of database technologies.
• Extensive experience with Data Lakehouse, Databricks, and Power BI.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Other Details

This role requires availability during unconventional hours to address operational needs, with some weekend work anticipated due to service windows and month-end processes. The engagement starts on 01.11.26 and has a duration of 2 years, with potential to transition to a full-time role.
