Senior Oracle Database Administrator

What You’ll Work On

Work on complex Oracle database migrations and infrastructure transformation projects with strict timelines and planned cutovers.

Transform existing standalone Oracle environments into highly available RAC-based platforms while ensuring database stability throughout migration and testing cycles.

Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams during design, migration, SIT/UAT, performance testing, cutover, and post-migration support.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and support Oracle RAC environments.
• Migrate databases between data centers and technology platforms.
• Transform standalone Oracle databases into clustered RAC environments.
• Support database migration planning, cutovers, and post-migration stabilization.
• Ensure high availability, performance, backup, and recovery of Oracle databases.
• Troubleshoot Oracle RAC, Grid Infrastructure, ASM, and database performance issues.
• Support SIT, UAT, and performance testing during database changes and migrations.
• Work closely with application, infrastructure, and project teams.
• Manage database changes according to established ITSM processes.
• Provide technical expertise during critical migration windows.

Skills You Have

• 5+ years of professional experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Practical experience with database migrations, especially data center relocations and platform transformations.
• Experience moving Oracle environments from standalone to RAC architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ASM, RMAN, backup/recovery, and high availability.
• Experience supporting application testing during database migrations and major changes.
• Good Oracle performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong Linux/UNIX knowledge.
• Experience working on project-driven migrations with strict timelines and cutovers.
• Understanding of ITSM processes, including incident, change, and problem management.
• Professional working proficiency in both Polish and English.
