Senior SAP FI/CO Business Consultant

You will join the Finance team within Global IT and contribute to the development, maintenance, and support of digital solutions for Finance, Procurement, HR, and Farmer Service processes. You will work across borders and cultures on large-scale business transformation projects, while helping keep finance solutions stable and effective as the organization approaches an SAP S/4HANA upgrade.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, and support of SAP FI modules, focusing on General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR), and Asset Accounting (FI-AA).
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate financial accounting requirements into SAP system solutions.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including asset closing, lease accounting adjustments, and bank reconciliation.
  • Drive process improvements and automation in Financial Accounting, focusing on efficiency, controls, and standardization.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and global accounting standards, including IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Work with Controlling, Procurement, Treasury, and IT teams to ensure integrated end-to-end processes.
  • Provide incident resolution and continuous support, including root-cause analysis and system enhancements.
  • Contribute to SAP S/4HANA transformations, particularly in FI-AA, leasing, and banking capabilities.

What will make you successful

  • Several years of SAP FI/CO consulting experience, with a minimum of 5 years.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills and the ability to build trust and engage stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into valuable software solutions.
  • Ability to lead value-driven discussions and use data insights to support decision-making.
  • Ability to take ownership, show initiative, and drive implementation and adoption of solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and contribute to a collaborative culture.
  • Readiness to travel as needed to support and implement solutions in business units, with an expected maximum of 20 days per year.
  • Familiarity with Agile ways of working is an advantage.
  • Fluent English.
