Middle Proxy Product Owner

We build software with developers and designers using a technology stack centered on React, Node.js, and TypeScript. Projects include work for established companies and early-stage startups (MVPs), serving US clients across industries such as fintech, sportstech, and medtech. Work flexibly within the Polish time zone.

Required

• 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner/Business Analyst for a SaaS product, or managing external clients while supporting SaaS product development
• Experience working in Agile projects
• English and Polish proficiency at C1 level

Your future tasks and duties

• Act as a trusted product partner to the client’s Product Owner, translating business goals into product direction, priorities, and actionable decisions.
• Understand the client’s business model, goals, product strategy, users, market context, and success metrics; ensure the team understands what is being built and why it matters.
• Work across product discovery and delivery stages.
• Manage the product roadmap and backlog, connecting roadmap and feature decisions to measurable business and user outcomes.
• Prepare clear requirements for the team and ensure timely product delivery.
• Negotiate scope and explain technical aspects to clients.
• Advise clients on trade-offs involving business value, user needs, technical complexity, risk, and time to market; discuss priorities, risks, and opportunities with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Challenge client requests constructively, ask strong questions, and recommend alternatives.
• Work with cross-functional Scrum teams of 4–12 people.
• Collect and provide feedback for the team.
• Proactively identify product opportunities, risks, and gaps, and bring recommendations to clients.
• Facilitate conversations toward clear decisions when stakeholders disagree or requirements are ambiguous.

Tech skills and experience

• 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner/Business Analyst for a SaaS product, or serving SaaS-development clients in a BA/Product Owner role
• Experience working in Agile projects
• Ability to structure and visualize ideas in real time, clarifying flows, logic, and next steps for clients
• Ability to structure work and communication through clear agendas, aligned roadmaps, and follow-up on decisions
• Experience collaborating with US-based, English-speaking clients, including talks, meetings, and workshops
• Experience documenting requirements, creating process flows, and communicating them to development teams
• Ability to conduct client workshops using techniques suited to client needs
• Business and product thinking to understand client business models, goals, users, and market context and shape product decisions
