Lead Pega System Architect

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership, oversee technical direction, and support parallel delivery streams across enterprise projects.
• Design, build, and maintain robust application components on the Pega platform.
• Implement end-to-end case lifecycles, data models, business logic, user interfaces, and REST/SOAP integrations.
• Ensure full adherence to Pega guardrails, platform design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Participate actively in solution architecture design, effort estimations, and backlog refinement sessions.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level developers on the team.
• Collaborate closely with Business Architects, QA engineers, and DevOps specialists to streamline delivery.

Skills

• Active Pega Certified Lead System Architect (LSA) or Senior System Architect (SSA) certification.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise Pega application design and development.
• Deep practical knowledge of Pega 8.x, including case types, flows, Cosmos UI, rules management, and data pages.
• Strong background in system integrations using REST, SOAP, and file-based interfaces.
• Solid experience operating in Agile delivery environments and driving guardrail compliance.
• Fluent English communication skills (B2+ level minimum).

Nice-to-Have

• Hands-on experience with Pega Constellation architecture and UI framework.
• German language proficiency.
