DevOps Engineer(AWS)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (CDK, CloudFormation).
• Architect and manage cloud networking components, including VPC design, subnets, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, Route 53, and load balancers.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodeBuild.
• Implement proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using CloudWatch, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Lead incident resolution, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery and backup planning.
• Optimize system performance, troubleshoot network bottlenecks, and continuously improve DevOps processes.
• Enforce security best practices, access controls, and compliance policies across all environments.

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering.
• Advanced hands-on expertise with AWS core services, including Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, and S3, and complex AWS networking architectures.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash; working knowledge of Node.js or Go is a plus.
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code using CDK or CloudFormation and with CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architectures, microservices, and observability tools.
