About the Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished DORA Transformation Consultant to join a dedicated advisory team. In this role, you will drive the embedding of DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) regulatory mandates into the Critical and Important Functions project stream. You will help ensure the corporate resilience framework is robust, strategically aligned, and fully compliant with current financial-sector regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Value Chain Mapping & Dependency Identification

  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and formal documentation of core business operations and their comprehensive end-to-end value chains.
  • Map critical data assets, foundational ICT infrastructures, and cross-functional dependencies with key business owners.
  • Maintain a holistic, top-down view across corporate business units and technical IT landscapes.

Impact Analysis & Recovery Strategy

  • Lead comprehensive Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to evaluate and classify the criticality of organizational functions.
  • Establish, validate, and align strategic Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs).
  • Collaborate on upgrading and structuring enterprise-wide business-continuity and ICT disaster-recovery blueprints.

Regulatory Compliance & Stakeholder Synergy

  • Analyze DORA requirements, technical standards, and regulatory updates, translating them into practical business workflows.
  • Act as a central liaison among Business Units, IT Operations, and Business Continuity, Crisis Management & Resilience (BCCM&R) teams.
  • Convert information from technical workshops into clear process maps, dependency diagrams, and structured documentation.

Profile Requirements: Experience & Technical Skills

  • 5+ years of verified success in ICT Risk Management, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and disaster recovery design.
  • Strong practical understanding of complex ICT environments within banking or financial services.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience leading BIAs and linking commercial business impacts to underlying IT infrastructure.
  • Direct practical exposure to DORA implementation initiatives in financial services.
  • Solid understanding of technical risk controls and governance frameworks; experience with ISO 22301 is highly advantageous.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in large, matrixed organizations with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to independently drive projects in a fluid, agile environment and guide and assign tasks to junior team members.
