Network Automation Engineer

Our Network Infrastructure Team designs, builds, and maintains the global network powering the platform. The team manages hundreds of switches and routers across data centers, develops network automation tools, and ensures network reliability, low latency, and scalability.

You Will

• Execute Linux low-level networking tuning and debugging to maximize OS stack performance.
• Design, expand, and manage global LAN/WAN infrastructure across multiple data centers.
• Work with open-source technologies such as SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud).
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring with Ansible, Python, and version-controlled workflows.
• Develop SONiC daemons and automate builds and testing.
• Ensure network security, reliability, and scalability through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to deliver fast, reliable services.
• Participate in strategic projects, including data-center expansions and new network-component design.

Desired Experience

• Excellent Linux/UNIX system administration skills, including command-line work, debugging, and system optimization.
• Experience with Linux low-level networking tuning and debugging.
• Understanding of switching, routing (IPv4/IPv6), and TCP/IP fundamentals.
• Proven experience with dynamic routing protocols, especially BGP.
• Experience with network automation, for example Ansible and Python.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes networking, EVPN, VPP, and eBPF.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to an evolving environment.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

• Cloud networking experience with GCP or AWS in hybrid environments.
