Staff Software Engineer

Our Staff Engineers combine deep technical expertise with strong ownership and take Tech Lead roles in complex, cross-team projects.

Responsibilities

• Gain a deep understanding of ad technology and ad-industry standards, including OpenRTB, MRAID, and VAST.
• Analyse end-to-end ad-workflow issues, reproduce problematic cases, and propose improvements.
• Design technical and operational solutions that improve ad experience and performance metrics.
• Lead implementation of architectural solutions, ensure high quality, and evaluate their impact on business performance.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership by solving complex system challenges, contributing to project planning and scoping, and maintaining high coding standards through code reviews.
• Cooperate with stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying complex software systems.
• 3+ years of technical leadership experience, such as Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, or Architect, in medium or large organizations.
• Excellent understanding of complex distributed IT systems, from hardware and networking through software and algorithms.
• C1-level English and Polish.

Nice to have

• Experience in AdTech or Real-Time Bidding.
