Senior QA Engineer

Mission:Design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure software quality, optimizing testing time and ensuring application stability and performance across different environments.Activities:Automated Test Design and Development:- Analyze system requirements and design test automation strategies.- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and load testing.- Implement test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright, or JUnit/TestNG.Execution and Monitoring:- Run automated tests across different environments and report results.- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines for automatic validation during deployments.- Monitor the stability and effectiveness of automated tests, adjusting scripts when necessary.Defect Identification and Documentation:- Detect and report defects found during automated test execution.- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve system issues.- Maintain up-to-date documentation of test scripts and their execution.Optimization and Continuous Improvement:- Evaluate new tools and techniques to enhance test automation.- Optimize test execution time and improve test coverage.- Ensure reusability and scalability of automated test scripts.Ensuring Coherence of the Information System:- Ensure automated tests are consistent with software quality standards.- Validate the integration of system modules in testing environments.- Maintain test compatibility with the technologies used in development.Deliverables:- Well-structured and documented automated test scripts.- Execution reports with detailed metrics.- Test integration within CI/CD pipelines.- A test automation strategy aligned with team objectives.Performance Indicators:- Automated test coverage of the codebase.- Execution time and effectiveness of automated tests.- Number of defects detected before release.- Failure rate in automated tests and resolution efficiency.
