Description

You will design, create, and maintain automated tests to ensure the quality of backend systems, including CRM and integrations with external partners. The role involves building test automation, running API tests based on OpenAPI specifications, setting up CI/CD quality gates, and validating system resilience for real business and financial scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated tests

• Automate PHP application tests using Pest

• Test systems built with Filament and Livewire

• Create API contract tests from OpenAPI specifications

• Build and maintain quality gates in CI/CD

• Test integrations with external partners

• Test financial processes and money flow

• Verify resilience against repeated operations/requests, cross-system inconsistencies, and data reconciliation and transaction flows

• Maintain QA environment

• Prepare and maintain test data, seeders, and external integration fakes

• Verify data state directly in PostgreSQL

• Collaborate with developers on test strategy

• Use AI tools to support testing work and critically assess AI-generated test quality

Requirements

• Experience in test automation

• Practical knowledge of PHP and Pest

• Experience testing applications using Filament and Livewire

• Experience testing APIs

• Knowledge of OpenAPI and contract testing

• Practical knowledge of CI/CD and ability to build automated test execution processes

• Experience testing integrations with external systems

• Strong SQL knowledge with independent verification of data in PostgreSQL

• Ability to prepare test data and mocks/fakes for integrations

• Understanding of safeguards that prevent accidental multiple execution of financial operations

• Experience working with AI tools supporting test creation and analysis
