Senior Business Analyst

Summary

The Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner will deliver actionable results in a savings bank environment by formulating user stories and business cases. This role focuses on enhancing business processes while ensuring compliance and stakeholder alignment.

Main Responsibilities

• Creating and prioritizing user stories in close cooperation with specialized departments.
• Developing comprehensive business cases, including cost-benefit analyses and decision templates.
• Managing stakeholders from both the specialist departments and IT.
• Identifying AI potential within the assigned workstream.

Key Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in a banking environment.
• Proven ability to create business cases, beyond just user stories.
• Familiarity with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban).

Nice to Have

• Basic understanding of AI use cases in banking.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or comparable tools.

Other Details

• Onboarding and business travel to Frankfurt, Hannover, or Münster.
• Delivery model focused on hands-on execution; no architects, strictly delivery-oriented.
• Freelance/contracting engagement.
• Minimum duration through December 31, 2026.
