Junior Business Analyst

We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst Product Owner who will help a banking-sector customer address strategic, organizational, and software development challenges. The role involves investigating, identifying, and analyzing requirements, as well as defining improvement areas for needed changes.

Main responsibilities

  • Participate in work related to key IT development areas, including IT strategy, IT transformation, AI, cloud, governance, cybersecurity, architecture, and operational efficiency.
  • Support coordination of transformation initiatives within the IT Division, including monitoring statuses, risks, dependencies, schedules, and next steps.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to gather information, structure insights, and translate them into clear recommendations.
  • Support preparation, updating, and monitoring of the Bank’s IT Strategy.
  • Help identify areas requiring improvement and contribute to proposals for IT development initiatives.
  • Prepare presentations, summaries, reports, and management materials for meetings, committees, workshops, and strategic decision-making.
  • Support meetings and workshops by preparing agendas, notes, summaries, and action-item lists.
  • Conduct market research to identify market status, trends, and key players.
  • Research and analyze improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with the development team.
  • Communicate business requirements clearly to business users, IT professionals, and external partners.
  • Identify stakeholders, analyze their needs and expectations, and translate them into relevant Product Backlog items.
  • Collaborate on user interviews and prototype validation.

Requirements

  • Higher education or studies in progress, preferably in management, economics, computer science, data analysis, data science, new technologies, or AI.
  • Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Awareness of software development processes.
  • Self-driven and proactive approach.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Good time management.
  • Ability to analyze information from multiple sources, form insights, and draw logical conclusions.
  • Moderate proficiency with AI tools and ability to use them in daily tasks.
  • Fluency in the MS Office suite, especially Word and PowerPoint.
  • Basic knowledge of the Scrum framework.
  • Fluent English.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
