Business Function Implementation Lead - SAP S/4HANA Controlling

The Work

As a Business Function Implementation Lead, you will join a team delivering transformation initiatives for an international company specializing in innovative manufacturing solutions and services across various industries. You will plan and lead the implementation of all activities for a specific business function, improving end-to-end performance and ensuring alignment with business requirements.

• Lead end-to-end implementation of initiatives for a defined business function, from scoping to stabilization.
• Conduct detailed process analysis, identify improvement areas, and drive redesign of processes and organizational structures.
• Act as a subject matter expert in SAP S/4HANA Controlling, including Product Cost Controlling and Material Ledger, advising stakeholders on best practices.
• Facilitate and lead workshops to gather and challenge requirements, ensuring stakeholder alignment across business and IT.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, defining timelines, resources, and deliverables for your functional stream.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks and issues, and implement adjustments required to meet agreed objectives.
• Engage multiple teams, coordinate cross-functional dependencies, and contribute to key design and implementation decisions.
• Evaluate project outcomes, capture lessons learned, and provide insights to support continuous improvement.

The work location may include a mix of remote work, onsite work at a client, or work in an office, depending on project circumstances.

Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Expert proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Controlling, including Product Cost Controlling and Material Ledger.
• A minimum of 1 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation project in a lead or stream-lead position.
• Strong influencing and advisory skills, with the ability to drive decisions and build consensus among multiple stakeholder groups.
• Experience leading workshops and collaborating with cross-functional, international teams.
• Confident communication skills in English.
