Senior Software Engineer, Site Reliability

This role is based in the Warsaw office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most employees can work from home on Wednesdays; Friday remote-work availability depends on the type of work. A Contract of Employment (UoP) is offered in Poland.

What you’ll achieve

• Influence the future SRE practice, particularly as the Warsaw team grows.
• Lead reliability-focused projects across infrastructure, tooling, and incident response.
• Define and implement the incident-management process.
• Build internal platforms and frameworks that help other teams improve service reliability.
• Participate in and help shape a sustainable on-call rotation shared across Warsaw, San Francisco, and Reykjavik.
• Work with AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Datadog, MySQL (RDS), ElasticSearch (OpenSearch), Redis, DynamoDB, Terraform, TypeScript, Scala, Go, and Python.

About you

• Strong, experienced software engineer comfortable writing and reading code; this is not an operations-only role.
• Focused on reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability rather than quick fixes.
• May have SRE experience or product-engineering experience with substantial infrastructure involvement.
• Experienced with systems at scale, or motivated to solve high-impact infrastructure problems.
• Curious, proactive, and comfortable working in ambiguous spaces.
• Collaborates effectively across teams and helps others build more reliable systems.
• Eager to learn the technologies needed to improve systems.
• Curious about AI tools and emerging technologies and willing to use them to improve productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.

• Estimated base salary of 31,000–36,000 PLN gross per month under a Contract of Employment. Actual salary depends on objectively assessed qualifications and other factors during the interview process; the range is a guideline and may be modified.
