Architect Lead

We are building a new mobile game with the ambition of reaching hundreds of millions of users and processing billions of events every day. And we are now looking for a Data Platform Architect / Lead to own our end-to-end data infrastructure that matches these ambitions. As the founding leader of the data function, you will define the architecture, set our technical standards and together with the team build a data platform that powers decision-making across product, LiveOps and marketing across the company.Your ResponsibilitiesDefine and own the end-to-end architecture of the data platform.Make, document, and defend key technology decisions, balancing scalability, cost, and team capacity.Partner with game, analytics, and marketing leadership to turn business needs into a platform roadmap with clear priorities and SLAs.Build core parts of the platform hands-on.Hire, mentor and grow the data engineering team. Establish engineering practices, review culture, and operational disciplineWhat We're Looking For7+ years in Data Engineering, including 2+ years as a tech lead or architect, with a track record of designing data platforms end-to-end.Strong architectural judgment, clear design documentation, and the ability to defend decisions in review.Expertise in cloud platforms, preferably AWS (S3, Kinesis, ECS, Athena etc), and modern data stack tools (dbt).Hands-on experience with ETL orchestration (Airflow or similar).Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and analytics best practices — schema design, partitioning, versioning, etc.Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure as code.Proficiency in Python and strong skills in writing and optimizing SQL.Experience hiring, mentoring, and growing engineers.Excellent collaboration and communication skillsWhat we offer:An exhilarating role in the mobile RPG gaming industry.Flexible employment terms: employment contract or B2B.Work environment of your choice: remote, in-office, or a hybrid model.A competitive benefits package tailored to your needs.A modern office space equipped with everything you need to succeed.
