Data Engineer / Analyst

Due to continued growth, we are currently hiring a Data Architect/Developer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain reporting and dashboard solutions that translate clinical and operational data into clear, usable insights.
  • Work with data lakehouse environments to source, transform, and organise data for analytics use cases.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, performance, and consistency across upstream and downstream datasets.
  • Support data modelling, documentation, and architecture standards to strengthen long-term maintainability and reuse.
  • Contribute to ongoing enhancement of dashboard functionality, backend data structures, and overall user experience.
  • Design and evolve data architecture to support scalable, reliable reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Improve and maintain medallion architecture layers to ensure clean, well-governed, and reusable data assets.
  • Partner with technical and business teams to align data architecture with reporting requirements and long-term platform needs.
  • Support documentation, governance, and best practices for data flows, architecture design, and dataset ownership.
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define data requirements, metrics, and reporting needs.
  • Translate stakeholder input into clear, actionable requirements for dashboard development and data architecture work.
  • Document decisions, assumptions, and requirement changes throughout delivery.
  • Support release announcements and information sharing following minor and major dashboard releases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Data Analytics, with experience in data architecture and development, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Strong experience working with modern data architecture, including data lakes, lakehouses, or enterprise analytics platforms.
  • Experience designing, improving, or supporting medallion architecture and multi-layered data models.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Power Automate.
  • AWS knowledge/skillset would be desirable.
  • Strong data analytics, development, and data architecture experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly with team members and leadership.
  • Experience documenting data flows, architectural decisions, and dataset definitions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and recognise problems, diagnose root causes, and take corrective action.
  • Excellent self-management and organisational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience in pharmaceuticals would be advantageous.
