Summary

The Enterprise Architect designs, implements and governs complex architectural frameworks aligned with strategic business objectives, with a focus on Cloud, Big Data and AI/ML.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain enterprise-wide architecture frameworks, standards and reference models.
  • Design and implement scalable data lakes and distributed data platforms using modern Cloud and Big Data technologies.
  • Define frameworks and roadmaps for Data Management, Data Migration, Data Integration, Data Governance, Data Quality, MDM and Data Security.
  • Architect solutions using Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, containerization and modern analytics platforms.
  • Lead integration architecture across provisioning, order management, inventory systems, mediation platforms and enterprise applications.
  • Provide architectural guidance to engineering teams and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Collaborate with business, IT and leadership stakeholders to ensure architectural clarity and shared understanding.
  • Establish CoEs and PoCs for Big Data and AI initiatives, driving adoption of emerging technologies.
  • Lead strategies to improve data-processing efficiency, including proven results such as a 50% performance boost.
  • Act as onsite lead to extract functional, business and technical specifications and transition them to offshore teams for BAU support.
  • Manage smooth technical transitions and launches, including international web-ordering systems and large-scale application migrations.
  • Ensure architectural compliance with security, regulatory and operational standards.
  • Produce clear architectural documentation and communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Must Haves

  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect in large, global organizations.
  • Strong expertise in Cloud, Big Data, AI/ML, containerization and enterprise data platforms.
  • Demonstrated success installing and managing data lakes and distributed data ecosystems.
  • Extensive data migration experience, including configuration validation, baseline data verification, script development and full lifecycle support.
  • Strong background in digital transformation, CoE establishment and PoC delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience across multiple industries: BFSI, Telecom, Automotive, Retail and Manufacturing.
  • Ability to operate strategically and hands-on in complex environments.

Nice to Haves

  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards, such as GDPR and CCPA.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies in data architecture.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies or DevOps practices.
  • Cloud technology certifications, such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
