Data Solution Architect

We are seeking a Data Solution Architect for data-driven projects. Together, we design and drive solutions that generate value from data, using scalable platforms, cutting-edge technologies and machine learning algorithms.

A Data Solution Architect empowers an organization's digital transformation through enterprise data enablement and democratization.

Responsibilities

• Address organizational business goals and strategy using best practices in data, solution, enterprise and business architecture, as well as software engineering.
• Conduct architectural activities including business-problem and technology-landscape analysis, significant-requirements identification, solution design and creation of corresponding artifacts.
• Perform hands-on software engineering: write code and create data models in primary technology stacks; read and understand code and data models in non-primary stacks; apply software design patterns and practices.
• Build data management environments and data platforms for producing and hosting data and AI products, on premises and in the cloud. Account for security, compliance and regulatory limitations, automation and operations components, monitoring, platform orchestration, batch and streaming ingestion, data-access layers, metadata management, semantic layers, self-service and exploratory environments, CI/CD and infrastructure automation, capacity and cost management, and reporting interfaces for data flow, data quality, operational status and catalog operations.
• Guide implementation teams in integrating and harmonizing data from multiple sources, building analytical and real-time streaming data products, and managing the end-to-end data-product lifecycle while ensuring quality, security, privacy and scalable efficiency.
• Drive data technology consulting, helping clients shape solution visions and make decisions under uncertainty.

Requirements

• Experience in requirements engineering, solution architecture, systems development, deployment and maintenance.
• Knowledge of architecture, design patterns and technology landscapes in at least three domains, such as Data Platforms, IoT, ML, Backend or Mobile.
• Profound knowledge of technology internals in at least one domain.
• Solid understanding of data and analytics platform architectures, data warehousing, business intelligence, data management, integration, security and operations.
• Extensive experience designing, implementing, deploying, troubleshooting and re-platforming distributed systems on premises and in the cloud.
• Structured, systematic knowledge of the full architecture design process, including requirements, quality attributes, technology selection, estimation, proposal verification and documentation.
• Experience across all software development lifecycle phases using different methodologies and best practices.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Good communication skills.
• Fluent English.
