Senior IT Project Manager – ERP / Manufacturing Implementation

About the project

We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to support a long-term ERP / IT implementation project within a large international manufacturing organization.

The project combines IT systems, ERP, business processes and physical manufacturing operations. The key challenge is ensuring that technology and production readiness are fully aligned — from systems and processes to machinery and operational infrastructure.

This is a highly business-critical environment where delays or issues in IT implementation can directly affect production continuity and business results.

Your responsibilities

• Coordinate IT activities within a large-scale manufacturing implementation project.
• Manage multiple teams, stakeholders and cross-functional dependencies.
• Coordinate dependencies between ERP/IT systems, business processes, production and physical infrastructure.
• Own project planning, timelines, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Ensure that IT implementation activities remain aligned with the overall production and operational readiness plan.
• Facilitate communication between IT, business, operations, production and external stakeholders.
• Identify risks and potential blockers and drive their resolution.
• Monitor milestones, deliverables and overall project progress.
• Support implementation activities through go-live and stabilization.
• Provide clear project status updates and escalate critical issues when required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably with experience in complex, large-scale implementations.
• Experience delivering IT / ERP / enterprise system implementations, ideally end-to-end.
• Good understanding of ERP and enterprise environments such as SAP, Oracle or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of how IT systems support business and operational processes.
• Proven experience coordinating multiple teams and managing complex dependencies.
• Understanding of manufacturing or production environments and their operational realities.
• Ability to understand the business impact of IT issues in a production environment.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of project delivery.
• Willingness to attend occasional on-site meetings in Poland when required.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, industrial or plant environments.
• Previous experience with SAP or another major ERP platform.
• Experience with factory implementations, plant launches or production system rollouts.
• German language skills.
• Experience working in international, multi-site organizations.
