C++ Consultant Position

Introduction & Summary

This role focuses on the development and maintenance of C++ components within a long-lived, mixed Qt codebase designed to support IT security and product stability. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in senior C++ development, particularly in high-performance desktop systems, and will be integral in enhancing the security posture of the existing software.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C++ components for the desktop application, prioritizing IT security and stability.
• Analyze existing code against established security requirements to develop fixes and improve security measures.
• Collaborate with Architecture, QA, and Product Management teams to deliver secure, maintainable, and high-quality solutions.
• Utilize AI coding agents to enhance code analysis efficiency, resolve issues, and share insights within the team.

Key Requirements

• Several years of senior C++ development experience, preferably in high-performance, heavily parallelized desktop systems.
• Strong command of modern C++ (C++14/17/20), IT security practices, multithreading, and debugging techniques.
• Hands-on experience with CMake, Conan, and MSVC.
• Structured, analytical working style with a commitment to high-quality outcomes.
