Introduction & SummaryThis role focuses on the development and maintenance of C++ components within a long-lived, mixed Qt codebase designed to support IT security and product stability. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in senior C++ development, particularly in high-performance desktop systems, and will be integral in enhancing the security posture of the existing software.Main ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain C++ components for the desktop application, prioritizing IT security and stability.Analyze existing code against established security requirements to develop fixes and improve security measures.Collaborate with Architecture, QA, and Product Management teams to deliver secure, maintainable, and high-quality solutions.Utilize AI coding agents to enhance code analysis efficiency, resolve issues, and share insights within the team.Key RequirementsSeveral years of senior C++ development experience, preferably in high-performance, heavily parallelized desktop systems.Strong command of modern C++ (C++14/17/20), IT security practices, multithreading, and debugging techniques.Hands-on experience with CMake, Conan, and MSVC.Structured, analytical working style with a commitment to high-quality outcomes.Other DetailsThis role is focused on delivering IT security and stability improvements and will be engaged with a long-standing codebase, utilizing modern tools and practices to achieve project goals.
