Description

Design and implement application features for a medical system used by healthcare professionals. Develop APIs and database access, integrate with external systems, and proactively troubleshoot technical issues while ensuring high code quality through reviews and tests. Take responsibility for technical decisions and help the team deliver value continuously.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of C++ application development experience or 2 years in a senior position

• Ability to independently design solutions for complex problems and break them into execution stages

• Strong ownership of solutions’ real-world operation

• Interest in whether the solution meets user needs

• Proactive identification of problems and proposing improvements

• Clear communication and ability to justify technical decisions

• Ability to support others and share knowledge

• Maintainability- and scalability-minded system design

• English at least B2

• Very good C++17 (or newer)

• Experience with Windows application development

• Very good SQL knowledge, preferably with PostgreSQL

• Ability to design well-structured, normalized database schemas and understand indexes

• Experience with SOAP Web Services

• Knowledge of multithreaded programming

• Legacy code experience with safe refactoring (no regressions)

• Defensive programming knowledge
