We are seeking a Senior Oracle EBS/APEX Application Developer to support the implementation, integration, and ongoing operation of an Oracle R12 federal financial management environment. The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of Oracle application development experience, including strong hands-on experience with Oracle APEX, EBS interfaces and integrations, SQL, and PL/SQL. Implementation, cutover, and post-go-live hyper-care experience is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Oracle EBS R12 reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, workflows, and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications integrated with Oracle EBS and other internal and external systems.
- Build and support inbound and outbound integrations using SQL, PL/SQL, EBS APIs, open interfaces, concurrent programs, and REST/SOAP web services.
- Support data mapping, conversion, validation, reconciliation, and migration from legacy systems.
- Participate throughout the implementation lifecycle, including technical design, development, testing, deployment, cutover, and stabilization.
- Provide post-go-live hypercare and production support, including monitoring, incident triage, root-cause analysis, data correction, and defect resolution.
- Perform unit testing and support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing.
- Prepare technical designs, interface mappings, conversion documents, deployment instructions, test evidence, and support procedures.
- Work with functional teams and stakeholders to translate financial and operational requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and communicate risks, issues, and solutions across all organizational levels.
- Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to support personnel and users.
Requirements
- Seven or more years of Oracle application development experience, including Oracle EBS R12.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle APEX and EBS interfaces and integrations.
- Advanced SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
- Experience with EBS RICE or CEMLI components, APIs, open interfaces, interface tables, and concurrent programs.
- Experience developing and supporting REST and SOAP web-service integrations.
- Strong understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, schemas, table structures, responsibilities, and APIs.
- Experience with data conversions, system integrations, testing, defect resolution, and production support.
- Experience supporting an implementation through deployment, cutover, post-go-live hypercare, and transition to ongoing operations.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical, functional, business, and leadership teams.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Oracle Financials experience with AP, AR, GL, SLA, CLM, or FedAdmin.
- Federal financial management or shared service provider experience.
- Experience with XML Publisher/BI Publisher, Oracle Workflow, EBS Personalizations, and UNIX/Linux scripting.
- Experience with configuration management, source control, release management, and deployment processes.
