Senior Product Designer - Lifecycle Growth

Senior

Hybrid

Wrocław, Poland

20,500 - 27,000 PLN

🏢 Summary: Senior Product Designer (12-month maternity cover with potential for permanent role) focused on driving activation, conversion, and retention through experimentation and lifecycle initiatives. The role owns end-to-end design from discovery to shipping, running A/B tests, in-product experiments, and data-driven optimizations tied to revenue metrics. Strong emphasis on business impact, product analytics, AI-assisted design, and rapid experimentation. 🗂️ Requirements: Proven end-to-end product design experience (discovery to shipping), Strong portfolio demonstrating business impact and metrics-driven design, Ability to design and run A/B tests and in-product experiments, Experience with product analytics and experimentation tools, Mastery of Figma, Hands-on experience with AI-assisted design or prototyping tools, Ability to define and measure success using activation and conversion metrics, Experience writing product copy, Experience working on digital products (SaaS or B2B preferred) 📃 Skills: Figma, A/B testing, Experimentation, Analytics, SEO, PAYDA, AI, Cursor, Claude, Codex, Flow, Prototyping, SaaS, B2B 🏢 Description: About us At Text, we're building a new category around customer communication, powered by real-time data. We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Lifecycle Growth team - someone who gets more excited by business outcomes than pixel-perfect screens, and who wants to design where every experiment, banner, and flow is tied to a real revenue or activation metric. This is initially a maternity cover (~12 months) with a strong path to a permanent role for the right person — in an organization our size, we always find a place for great specialists. This isn't a role for someone who wants to be handed perfectly-scoped tickets. We work like adults running our own startup inside Text: high autonomy, weekly cadence, async-first, and zero hand-holding. About the team Lifecycle Growth Team sits inside the broader Activation org and works across two connected areas: lifecycle (customer communication around product updates, churn prevention, win-backs) and R&D and experimentation (SEO and PAYDA tests, activation banners and nudges, reshaping core product surfaces). We share KPIs with Product Activation: Trial > QL > Subscriber. You'll work most closely with your own team day-to-day, but because Activation touches every product team, you'll collaborate broadly across product and design. What you'll own Taking end-to-end ownership of design work - from business discovery and problem definition, through design, testing, and shipping. Designing for business outcomes : activation, conversion, retention. You'll define what success looks like in numbers. Running live experiments - activation banners, in-product nudges, A/B tests, and lifecycle communications that move Trial > QL > Subscriber. Collaborating with designers across Activation and other product teams, contributing to design critique and shared thinking. Occasional experiments that go beyond Activation - and affect acquisition, retention and monetization Writing copy - at Text, designers write the first version of product copy. Working AI-natively - using tools like Cursor to build interactive mockups and accelerate your work. Who you are We hire for mindset over years on a CV . If you have fewer years of experience and the bullets below describe you, we want to talk. If you have 10 years and you don't recognize yourself here, this won't be a fit. You take ownership. Every designer at Text is expected to act like the design lead for everything they ship. You think business-first. You can read a metric, understand why it matters, and design toward moving it. You move fast. You'd rather ship a rough test this week and learn than ship a polished screen next quarter and hope. You're comfortable with ambiguity. Our team is post-reorg, our product is newer than LiveChat with smaller data volumes, and our roadmap shifts. You're AI-native or eager to be. You use AI tools as a multiplier, not a curiosity. You communicate clearly and directly. You give and receive feedback without ego. Deal-breaker: if you optimize for how something looks more than how it works — this isn't your team. We're building a product that makes people more productive. You may be a great fit if you have A portfolio that shows business thinking — why something was built, what changed because of it, and how you made the trade-offs. Comfort with the full design process : discovery, prototyping, shipping, and measuring impact. Mastery of Figma ; familiarity with experimentation tools and product analytics. Hands-on experience with AI-assisted design or prototyping tools (Claude Code/ Codex /Flow/Claude Design) — or a clear willingness to adopt them fast. Nice to have Experience working on a product (vs. agency or marketing-only). Background in SaaS, B2B, or product-led growth . Experience writing product copy. Hands-on experience with AI-assisted design or prototyping tools (Cursor, v0, etc.). Why you'll love working here Real ownership from day one. You won't be waiting for permission. A team of people who care. Strong characters, high standards, low ego. Direct line to leadership. No layers of middle management between your ideas and decisions. Cross-product exposure. Because Activation works with every product team, you'll see more of how Text actually works in 12 months than most designers see in 3 years. A path to permanent. This role starts as maternity cover, but for the right person, we'll make space. Ability to deliver incredible impact. Our tools serve more than 1 billion customers a month, across 150+ countries Unlimited access to all the cutting edge AI tools 🔥 We're not promising an easy ride. We're promising real impact, real autonomy, and a team that will push you to do the best work of your career — if you're the kind of person who wants that. 🏢 Summary: Lead UI/UX Designer role owning end-to-end product design, visual language, and design system for a learning and research product. You will turn ambiguous problems into clear UX flows and high-fidelity UI, collaborating closely with engineering to ship polished experiences. The role combines product design, brand identity, and rapid user validation with full ownership of quality and craft. 🗂️ Requirements: Proven experience in end-to-end UI/UX design for digital products, Ability to create UX flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI, Experience defining and scaling design systems with components and variants, Proficiency in Figma for auto-layout, prototyping, and system management, Experience collaborating closely with engineering for production handoff, Ability to conduct lightweight user research and rapid validation, Strong understanding of HCI principles and interaction design, Ability to define and maintain cohesive brand identity across product surfaces 📃 Skills: Figma, UX, UI, Prototyping, Wireframing, DesignSystems, Typography, Illustration, Branding, HCI, InteractionDesign, AutoLayout, UserResearch 🏢 Description: ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for an expert UI/UX designer with outstanding taste and a bias for shipping to lead every visual and brand aspect of our product — from the core design system down to the last pixel. This is not a "pure artist" role. You'll work in a tight product team, iterate fast, and make hard trade-offs when reality demands it. You'll own the visual language of a product used by people who care deeply about learning and research. The expectation is high — you define what good looks like, and you hold that bar as the product grows. WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON Core product journeys Own end-to-end design for the most important product experiences — search and discovery, reading, notes, and collaboration. Turn ambiguous problems into clear UX flows, prototypes, and shippable UI. Design system Define and evolve the design system — components, variants, states — so the team can move fast without quality regressions as features multiply. Craft and details Raise the bar on hierarchy, interaction, motion, and micro-details so the product feels inevitable rather than assembled. Engineering collaboration Work in a tight shipping loop with engineering to land high-fidelity designs in production exactly as intended. User research Run lightweight user research and rapid validation when it meaningfully reduces risk — not as a process, but as a tool. Brand coherence Keep brand and marketing surfaces coherent with the product — visual language, typography, and key visuals. WHAT WE LOOK FOR Elite communication You set expectations accurately and live up to them. No surprises on timelines, scope, or quality. Deep resilience Feedback cycles, tight deadlines, tough discussions — you have a large buffer before stress impacts your output. No ego Your work gets better through collaboration. We're here to build something great, not to manage insecurities. Product mastery You understand what makes great software feel inevitable — clarity, hierarchy, consistency, motion, copy, and details. You've studied the best and can articulate why it works. Brand instinct You can define a visual identity that feels premium, coherent, and distinctly ours — and keep it consistent as the product scales. HCI fascination Deeply interested in human-computer interaction. Actively exploring AI-native interfaces and new interaction primitives that feel intuitive, not bolted on. Bonus Ex-founder experience. DESIGN STACK Figma for components, variants, auto-layout, prototyping, and design systems. Brand identity, guidelines, typography, colour, and illustration. Close collaboration with engineering for production handoff. Lightweight user research and validation. The stack isn't fixed — outcomes matter more than tools. DESIGN CULTURE Radical ownership You own the visual language and the bar. You decide what good looks like — and you're accountable for it. Ruthless simplicity We delete, simplify, and reduce. Every element must earn its place. Fast iteration Polished does not mean slow. We prototype, test, and refine quickly. Direct feedback Feedback is blunt, concise, and respectful. No politics. RECRUITMENT PROCESS Recruiter screening — a short intro call. 1-on-1 with the founder — a conversation about how you think and design. Design challenge (~2 hours) — onboard to the product, review what's working and what isn't, record a Loom and send it over. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary $90,000 – $120,000 depending on experience. Equity and profit share Core team members receive both equity and profit share as part of the compensation package. Unlimited PTO Use your own judgement — we won't count days. Real ownership No managers capping your authority. You own your work end-to-end, with the full trust of the team behind you.

Our initial and current focus has been on direct-to-consumer ecommerce brands selling physical products, but our goal is to make Juo components applicable in any industry where a subscription model can be applied for repetitive selling of physical goods. Juo operates at the intersection of a few areas, like ecommerce and payments, but — especially the new platform — with a strong focus on developer experience. The team is lean and consists only of experienced people. In the past, we built successful businesses together. Some unsuccessful ones too — and learned a ton from that. Technical Product Manager

Senior

22,000 - 28,000 PLN/mo

🏢 Summary: Technical Product Manager role focused on building and scaling AI capabilities at the platform and backend level, powering multiple products. The position bridges product strategy and deep engineering collaboration, shaping AI-driven features, APIs, and infrastructure for reliability and scalability. You will own end-to-end product delivery for AI and cloud services, translating business needs into robust technical solutions. 🗂️ Requirements: Technical background in software development or hands-on engineering role, Ability to read code and participate in architecture discussions, Experience working with backend or platform products, Strong understanding of LLMs and AI system design, Experience with APIs and service architecture, Ability to define and manage technical product requirements, Experience delivering scalable and reliable technical solutions, Fluent English communication skills 📃 Skills: AI, LLMs, APIs, Backend, Architecture, Cloud, Infrastructure, Prompting, Observability, Permissions, RateLimiting, Streaming, ModelManagement, Evaluations 🏢 Description: We are the company behind CKEditor – an open-source rich text editor used by millions of people around the world. We are part of Tiugo Technologies, a family of API-first developer platforms (CKEditor, TinyMCE, ButterCMS, Uploadcare) focused on content creation and digital collaboration. Description: As a Technical Product Manager, you will help shape how AI becomes a real product capability across CKEditor. This role sits at the intersection of product thinking, engineering depth, and developer empathy. You’ll work closely with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to turn AI opportunities into product decisions that are useful, scalable, and worth shipping. When this role works well, teams move faster, product decisions get sharper, and AI capabilities feel like a real extension of the product rather than a layer added on top. You won’t just help define features. You’ll help define how we build in this space. You'll work on the backend and platform layer that powers multiple products across CKEditor. This department includes the AI Services team, which focuses on agent harnessing, model management and evaluations, streaming, rate limiting, and permissions, as well as Cloud Services teams responsible for real-time collaboration infrastructure. What those teams share is a platform-first mindset: you need to care about APIs, service architecture, and the reliability that many products and teams depend on every day. On the AI side, you also need to understand what LLMs can and can't do, and why that matters at the infrastructure level. If you have a stronger background with the product surface and the design - and would like to continue growing in that direction - take a look at our counterpart role, Technical Product Manager. Key responsibilities: Help shape the product vision and roadmap for our features. Drive prioritization day to day: make clear tradeoffs between user value, technical complexity, speed, and quality. Keep the team focused on what matters most right now. Collaborate with engineering teams to translate business needs into technical requirements. Manage the product lifecycle from conception through release. Define and track product requirements, and ensure delivery of high-quality and scalable solutions. Coordinate with sales, marketing, and support teams to maximize product success. To be successful in this role you need the following: Engineers forget you're a PM. You come from a technical background (whether that's software development or another hands-on technical role), and it shows. You can read code, hold your own in architecture discussions, and understand constraints without needing them explained twice. You ship, not just plan. Within 3 months, you'll be expected to be productive in the trenches. This isn't a role where strategy fills your calendar. You own the day-to-day scope and delivery alongside your engineering and design counterparts, and you move at the pace the work demands. You're comfortable owning hundreds of small decisions, every day. High-level strategy will be covered by product and technical leaders, with your help. But the details are yours. You'll make judgment calls constantly, and you won't wait for permission to make them. You take AI seriously and you lead well in high-stakes environments. AI is our top product priority right now. You understand how LLMs work, what makes a prompt engineering approach sound or fragile, and why model behavior matters to the product experience. You'll be in conversations with product leaders, technical leaders, and go-to-market teams, and you can discuss this work credibly with engineers and executives while driving clarity and momentum without formal authority. You communicate clearly across very different audiences, in fluent English. You can explain a technical tradeoff to a non-technical stakeholder and an AI product decision to an engineer, on the same day, without losing either audience. Experience that helps: We care more about what you've accomplished than CV line items. If you've shipped products that users and developers love, and can discuss technical tradeoffs, we want to talk regardless of your education or exact years of experience. We'd love to hear about: You've worked on platform or backend products that serve multiple teams or product surfaces. You understand the difference between shipping a feature once and building a capability others will depend on every day. You can discuss prompt engineering, model behavior, evaluations, and operational tradeoffs without hand-waving. You know that AI quality is not just about picking a model; it's about system design, guardrails, iteration, and measurement. You've worked with APIs, service architecture, observability, permissions, rate limits, or other platform concerns that determine whether a technical product is reliable at scale. Why join CKSource: Our people are a huge part of what makes CKSource a great place to work!
