What is this role?

The National Account Manager (Grocery) is responsible for driving growth across key national and regional grocery accounts, including HEB, Albertsons, Target, Publix, and beyond. This role owns both new business development and the expansion of existing partnerships, with a focus on increasing distribution, velocity, and overall account performance.

You will act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, developing strategic plans, executing joint business planning, and collaborating cross-functionally to bring Cirkul's hydration platform to more consumers nationwide.

Driving Results

  • Own revenue, distribution, and velocity targets across assigned grocery accounts
  • Lead line reviews, buyer meetings, and promotional planning conversations
  • Analyze POS data, syndicated data, and internal reporting to identify growth opportunities
  • Build and execute joint business plans that drive measurable sales gains
  • Monitor promotional performance and trade spend to maximize ROI

Taking Ownership

  • Operate as the end-to-end owner of each account
  • Identify risks related to inventory, supply, and performance gaps
  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups from buyer meetings

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in CPG sales with a focus on grocery accounts
  • Experience managing national or regional retail accounts
  • Experience with retailers such as HEB, Albertsons, or Target
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
  • Experience with syndicated data and category management principles
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Compensation

Annual base salary range: $115,000–$135,000 USD. Additional compensation may include bonuses, incentives, and equity.
