What You'll Do
- Direct the overall operations, strategy, and execution of the Arrive Fresh carrier capacity department to maximize service and buying power within the fresh produce sector.
- Inspire, mentor, and coach Carrier Capacity Managers and Carrier Account Representatives to build specialized sales and procurement skills.
- Cultivate a high-performing, collaborative team culture focused on professional development and engagement.
- Develop and implement robust Carrier Compliance and Claims Management programs for temperature-controlled and perishable freight.
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations including FSMA, STF, and PACA.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align goals and execute strategic initiatives.
- Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for carrier procurement, onboarding, and service delivery.
- Oversee bid management processes with growers and institutional customers.
- Partner with Technology teams to enhance Transportation Management System (TMS) functionality.
- Analyze KPIs such as lane pricing, tender acceptance, carrier retention, and service delivery to optimize productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- 15+ years of brokerage experience in 3PL or freight brokerage operations.
- 10+ years of experience in produce and floral logistics with cold-chain procurement expertise.
- 6+ years of logistics leadership experience managing carrier capacity or sales teams.
- Expertise in FSMA, STF, and PACA regulations and compliance program development.
- Experience in bid management, carrier contract negotiations, and transportation network pricing.
- Proficiency with modern TMS platforms and analytical tools for carrier performance tracking.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has direct supervisory responsibilities over Carrier Account Representatives specializing in produce and floral logistics.

The Opportunity: We are seeking an Account Executive with experience in end to end supply chain solutions and fulfillment to build and maintain a healthy book of business. You'll be part of a high-performing team where you'll focus on building up Flexport's brand while solving customer problems with tech-enabled supply chain and fulfillment solutions. A normal day might include leading a discovery call with a prospect to uncover more about their supply chain processes, project managing the complexities of a global supply chain, reviewing a customer's growth strategy with their Flexport Operations Team, traveling with a prospective client to tour a Flexport warehouse, or sharing best practices with the broader sales team.
