Description

Career Team is looking to hire a WIOA Program Lead who will be responsible for all coordination of assigned programs and management of services within those programs. The role includes implementation of policies and procedures and analysis of workforce activities to evaluate compliance with contract requirements. This position works under the Project Director and is 100% onsite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement a quality management model for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
  • Manage and lead program staff to meet or exceed performance goals
  • Ensure thorough and accurate case file reviews and prevent disallowed costs
  • Correct identified deficiencies and ensure compliance
  • Identify and maintain community partnerships
  • Evaluate and manage program performance goals and establish procedures to meet performance measures
  • Develop teamwork strategies and address staff training needs
  • Supervise career advisors, provide coaching, and conduct evaluations
  • Lead team meetings
  • Author monthly and quarterly programmatic reports
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Social Services or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2–3 years of proven management skills
  • Minimum of five years of supervisory or management experience
  • Knowledge of workforce development program operations preferred
  • Strong customer service and performance management knowledge
  • Experience in training and coaching/mentoring
  • Strong project management, organizational, personnel, problem-solving, and data analysis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment
  • Valid driver's license and adequate vehicle insurance

Additional Skills

  • Strong skills in MS Excel and Google Sheets
  • Experience with workforce development contracts/programs
  • Ability to multitask and be proactive

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary range: $65,500 - $69,000 per year (commensurate with education and experience)

Travel

  • Travel primarily within Snohomish County to support project operations and partnerships; prior approval required for travel outside the county
