Andersen is hiring a PHP Developer in the EU for a project developing eCommerce and payment integrations, enhancing digital products, and supporting scalable business solutions. 

The customer is a fast-growing fintech company providing digital payment solutions and financial services for the eCommerce sector. It offers an integrated platform with digital transaction capabilities, enabling merchants to support commercial performance and improve user interactions. The project is focused on developing and enhancing integrations between checkout solutions and eCommerce platforms. It includes improving existing modules, building shared integration services, and delivering new features that support order management, customer engagement, and commerce workflows.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Working with the Platform Integrations team. 

  • Building integrations between checkout and eCommerce platforms. 

  • Improving existing modules (previously owned by third-party providers). 

  • Taking ownership of modules from external vendors. 

  • Creating a common service for the modules. 

  • Supporting and extending Magento-based order management functionality. 

  • Implementing new features, including upsell and loyalty capabilities.  

Must-haves:  

  • Experience with PHP development, preferably within open-source ecosystems, for 5+ years. 

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of solutions. 

  • Proven experience delivering complex features and integrations in fast-paced environments. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive initiatives with minimal supervision. 

  • Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.  

Nice-to-haves:
