We are seeking a Portfolio Project Manager (Contractor) based in Poland to lead Oracle Simphony projects for a major Food & Beverage account in EMEA. Reporting to the Programme Manager, you’ll provide governance, financial oversight, risk and scope management, and build strong client relationships around Simphony solution delivery. You may also support other accounts or programmes as business needs arise.

Responsibilities:

·       Lead delivery of Oracle Simphony implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects, ensuring compliance with standards, timely completion, and high customer satisfaction.

·       Build and maintain trusted long-term relationships with client stakeholders, acting as an ambassador for Oracle and demonstrating professionalism and sensitivity within strategic account                              environments.

·       Oversee all project management processes for Simphony initiatives, including detailed planning, scheduling, resource management, and progress reporting.

·       Manage project financials, including accurate budgeting, forecasting, regular financial reporting, and timely invoicing to clients for Simphony-related work.

·       Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues; escalate when necessary to ensure smooth project delivery.

·       Track and control project scope and manage change requests, ensuring impacts on timelines and budget are clearly communicated and agreed upon.

·       Communicate clearly and effectively across cultures, adapting your style for diverse EMEA stakeholders.

·       Promote and implement continuous improvement and lessons learned within Simphony project delivery.

·       Collaborate closely with technical Simphony delivery teams and other internal stakeholders (technical implementation remains with dedicated teams).

·       Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and compliance requirements, including GDPR and food & beverage industry regulations.

·       Maintain thorough project documentation for knowledge transfer, audits, and future reference.

·       Work independently with minimal supervision, taking accountability for project outcomes.

We are looking for:

  • 5+ years’ experience managing portfolios, programmes, or projects, including hands-on responsibility 

  • Proven record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

  • Strong experience in customer relationship management, account governance, financial oversight, risk and scope/change management.

  • Excellent cross-cultural communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including working with C-level and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience working in distributed, virtual, and multicultural teams.

  • Proficiency with project management and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, JIRA, Smartsheet).

  • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall project methodology.

  • Project management certification preferred (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum Master).

  • Fluent in both English and Polish (written and spoken).

  • Advanced French min C1 (written and spoken)

  • Must have the right to work in Poland (no visa sponsorship available).
