Description

This is a full-time on-site Primary Care Physician role in Juneau, Alaska. You will provide comprehensive primary care, manage urgent care needs, perform physical exams, provide preoperative clearance, and advise patients on preventative healthcare. The role includes collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat illnesses

• Conduct physical exams

• Manage urgent care needs

• Provide preoperative clearance

• Oversee and advise on medicine treatments

• Advise on preventative healthcare

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Requirements

• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

• Primary care skills, including Medicine and Family Medicine

• Experience with urgent care practices

• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills

• Excellent patient care and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

• Medical degree from an accredited institution

• Valid Alaska medical license or ability to obtain one

• Commitment to serving the Juneau community
