Description

As a Primary Care Physician, you will be the first point of contact for patients, delivering comprehensive medical care including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, preventive care, and health maintenance. You’ll also perform minor procedures, build individualized treatment plans, coordinate with other clinicians, and maintain accurate EHR documentation. The role is clinic-based with work-life balance and no on-call commitments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations
• Diagnose and treat common conditions, injuries, and infections
• Develop personalized treatment plans (medications, lifestyle modifications, referrals)
• Educate patients on preventive care, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices
• Perform minor surgical procedures (e.g., suturing lacerations, removing skin lesions)
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records using an EHR
• Participate in CME to stay current in primary care medicine
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards and maintain patient confidentiality
• Comply with all Washington State licensing requirements

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Currently licensed in Washington or eligible to be licensed
• Unrestricted DEA and NPI
• Ability to be credentialed with major insurances and Medicare
• Proficient in use of an EMR/EHR system
• Strong evidence-based clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues
• Compassionate patient care with professionalism and confidentiality
• Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement
