Description

You will use KiCad to perform real-world PCB design and electronic circuit development tasks, and explain your workflows step by step to help improve an AI system’s understanding of electronics engineering and PCB design workflows.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify PCB designs and circuit schematics using KiCad

• Perform component placement, PCB routing, and multilayer board design

• Run Design Rule Checks (DRC) and troubleshoot PCB design issues

• Generate Gerber files and other manufacturing outputs

• Complete advanced KiCad design tasks and document workflows step by step

• Create clear instructions and detailed prompts for PCB design

Requirements

• Experience with KiCad for real-world PCB design and circuit development

• Ability to create and modify schematics and PCB layouts

• Knowledge of placement and routing workflows in KiCad

• Experience with multilayer PCB designs

• Ability to perform DRC and troubleshoot PCB issues

• Ability to generate Gerber files and manufacturing outputs

• Ability to document workflows and produce clear instructions/prompts
