Description

Work on the design, development, testing, debugging, and maintenance of user-facing single-page applications for a cloud-based front-office platform. Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, and product partners to turn requirements into practical, maintainable software. Contribute to unit and automation testing, code reviews, and troubleshooting of issues reported by support or other development teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain user interfaces and single-page applications

• Build primarily with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript

• Deliver small- and medium-sized enhancements within platform business and technical domains

• Convert requirements into reliable software through cross-functional collaboration

• Write and maintain unit and automation tests; perform manual testing

• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by customer support or other teams

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives)

• Coordinate with teammates to complete assigned work

• Stay current with UI engineering practices and technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field (Master’s preferred)

• 2–5 years of progressively responsible professional software engineering experience

• Experience building and maintaining web user interfaces using JavaScript or TypeScript (React preferred)

• Working knowledge of object-oriented programming and data structures

• Experience developing, debugging, and testing software (small-to-medium scope with moderate supervision)

• Effective written and verbal communication skills
