Description

Lead end-to-end design, development, testing, deployment, and support of enterprise-grade full stack applications. Define solution architecture and engineering standards across Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, React.js, and Azure platforms, and translate product requirements into maintainable technical designs with measurable outcomes. Drive cloud-native engineering and DevSecOps (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, secure supply-chain controls) while mentoring engineers and supporting production incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise-grade full stack applications (design → support)
• Establish architecture and engineering standards for backend and frontend (Java/Spring Boot/REST/microservices/React) and Azure-based platforms
• Implement backend services and responsive user interfaces for complex or critical features
• Design secure integrations with internal platforms, third-party providers, data services, and financial systems
• Use Azure compute, data, messaging, identity, monitoring, and deployment capabilities for cloud-native delivery
• Enforce standards for coding, APIs, testing, observability, resiliency, and documentation
• Run design reviews, code reviews, performance tuning, defect resolution, and production-readiness assessments
• Champion DevSecOps and CI/CD automation; apply infrastructure as code and secure software supply-chain controls
• Partner with product, architecture, cybersecurity, risk, compliance, infrastructure, data, and operations teams
• Mentor engineers, delegate effectively, and foster continuous improvement
• Provide technical leadership during production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering/IT or equivalent practical experience
• 10+ years of software engineering, including leading design and delivery of complex enterprise applications
• Advanced Java and Spring Boot expertise (microservices, REST APIs, data access, security, concurrency, error handling, performance)
• Strong hands-on React.js plus JavaScript or TypeScript for component-based responsive UIs and frontend testing
• Proven Azure experience (secure cloud architecture, deployment, monitoring, operational support)
• Strong relational database + SQL skills (data modeling, transactions, performance tuning); NoSQL patterns a plus
• Experience with event-driven architecture, messaging, caching, API gateways, and distributed-system patterns
• Strong security fundamentals (authentication/authorization, encryption, secrets management, secure coding, remediation, privacy)
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated unit/integration testing, artifact management, and production releases
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions, influence architecture, mentor engineers, and communicate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders
• Hands-on with Azure services including App Service, AKS, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Key Vault, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Storage, Application Insights, Azure Monitor
• Experience with containers (Docker, Azure Container Apps) and infrastructure as code (Terraform or Bicep)
