Description

Architect low-latency APIs and backend services using .NET while building Angular user interfaces for a large-scale financial services platform supporting critical investment decision tools. Work with microservices, message-driven systems (Kafka), CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, and observability with Splunk, with strong test automation and rigorous code review practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build low-latency APIs and backend services using .NET

• Build user interfaces in Angular

• Use AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot and Claude) to accelerate development

• Deliver analytical tools that guide investment decisions

• Maintain >80% test automation coverage and lead multi-peer code reviews

• Own the production lifecycle using GitHub Actions for CI/CD and Splunk for observability

• Define API contracts with OpenAPI/Swagger

Requirements

• 2+ years of strong experience with .NET and Angular

• Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including query tuning and schema design

• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and high-performance RESTful APIs

• Proven background with message-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar)

• Skilled in writing unit and integration tests

• Agile/Scrum experience with sprint planning and peer reviews

• U.S. work authorization for any employer; no visa sponsorship/transfer

• English proficiency B2 or higher

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
