Description

You will analyze business and technical requirements and deliver reliable, maintainable software solutions using modern development practices. The role focuses on both front-end and back-end development, including database design and support for production systems.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyze, maintain, enhance, and support existing applications and services

• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and reliable software aligned with engineering standards

• Deliver moderate to complex development projects independently while meeting quality, performance, and delivery expectations

• Identify issues proactively, prioritize solutions, and minimize customer impact

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, driving resolution through root-cause analysis

• Collaborate with Database Administration, Platform Engineering, DevOps, QA, and Automation teams

• Understand system integrations, dependencies, and data flows across multiple services

• Be available after hours or on weekends as needed for emergency support

• Stay current with modern architecture, design patterns, and engineering practices

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no employer sponsorship needed

• 3+ years of professional software development experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or additional compensatory experience)

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience with object-oriented design/development

• Must reside in the Phoenix area and be able to work onsite
