Description

Contract Full Stack UI Developer responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting full-stack web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies, including UI development, APIs, and security (authentication and authorization).

The role emphasizes production support, data integration, and building secure web portals or enterprise applications for internal and external users with role-based access and identity management.

Additional value is placed on experience in healthcare/public health environments and handling sensitive data with HIPAA, privacy, security, and data governance requirements.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting full-stack web applications

• Experience with UI development and backend APIs

• Experience with security, authentication, and authorization (secure coding)

• Experience with data integration and production support

• Preferred: 5+ years developing secure web portals or enterprise applications with role-based access and identity management

• Preferred: API integration, testing, performance optimization, and operational support

• Preferred: React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, FastAPI, Terraform

• Preferred: healthcare/public health/disease surveillance/health information environments and regulated health information

• Preferred: HIPAA/privacy/security and data governance compliance for sensitive healthcare data

• Preferred: integration with cloud services/data platforms (AWS, enterprise APIs, analytics platforms, data warehouses, large-scale ingestion)

• Preferred: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, or similar enterprise authentication/authorization

• Preferred: event-driven architectures using cloud-native integration and messaging services

• Preferred: modern delivery practices (Git, GitHub, CI/CD, DevSecOps, unit/integration testing, code reviews, defect tracking, monitoring, logging, documentation)

• Preferred: Docker and Kubernetes

• Preferred: AWS HealthLake, Snowflake, or similar cloud healthcare data platforms
