Description

Psychiatric NP needed for an immediate locum opportunity providing primarily inpatient psychiatric coverage in St. Charles, Missouri. You will manage approximately 20–25 patients per day with a mix of new and existing patients, collaborating with psychiatrists and an experienced NP team. Schedule includes Monday–Friday daytime coverage plus one rotating weekend per month, with no call and no telehealth; charting is in WellSky.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric and mental health care in an inpatient setting
• Assess, treat, and manage new and existing patients
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and NP providers during weekdays and weekends
• Complete clinical documentation in WellSky EMR

Requirements

• Active Missouri NP license
• BLS and CPR certification
• Psychiatric/mental health NP experience preferred (experience may be accepted in lieu of fellowship)
• Local candidates only
