Description

This full-time weekday APRN position combines morning walk-in care with family practice appointments. You will evaluate patients, develop and manage treatment plans, order and review diagnostic tests, prescribe medications within licensure and scope, and coordinate referrals and follow-up. CME is provided, and a quality bonus is available after one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide walk-in care from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m.

• Provide family practice care from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• Evaluate patients, obtain histories, and perform examinations

• Develop and manage treatment plans

• Order and review diagnostic tests

• Prescribe medications within licensure and scope of practice

• Document care

• Coordinate referrals and patient follow-up

• Collaborate with physicians, clinic staff, and the multidisciplinary care team

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited APRN program

• Current eligibility to practice as an APRN in Illinois

• National certification in the appropriate population focus

• Ability to meet applicable credentialing, privileging, and clinic requirements

• Family practice or primary care experience (preferred)
