Description

Build and evolve a medical SaaS platform used by thousands of healthcare professionals. You will design and implement features across backend and frontend, model domains and data, and integrate with external systems—while owning technical decisions, maintaining high code quality, and ensuring the solution fits user needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement functionality on backend and frontend
• Analyze product, business, and technical requirements
• Implement features supporting complex medical business processes
• Model the domain and work with data
• Perform integrations with external systems
• Maintain code quality through code reviews and tests
• Actively participate in technical decision-making
• Support teammates with decisions and share knowledge
• Initiate and deliver technical and organizational improvements
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and the Product Owner

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience (or 2 years in a senior position) in building web applications with Java and React
• Ability to independently design solutions for complex problems and split them into implementation steps
• Understands business context and takes responsibility for solution behavior in practice
• Checks whether solutions meet user needs
• Can work from broad business requirements and clarify solution details independently
• Proactively identifies issues and proposes improvements
• Experience with or willingness to develop software practices such as trunk-based development and Continuous Delivery
• Clear communication and ability to justify technical decisions
• Design solutions for maintainability and growth of the system
• Practical experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Very strong Java (11+)
• Very strong React and TypeScript
• Good SQL knowledge (ideally PostgreSQL)
• Experience with Hibernate and Spring (application context management, DI, module integration)
• Experience writing tests (e.g., Spock, JUnit, Testing Library, Vitest)
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices
• Ability to write readable, testable, maintainable code
