Description

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications, including backend services and RESTful APIs. You will implement microservices, work with Hibernate/JPA and relational databases, and handle testing, debugging, and performance optimization. You will also provide basic hands-on support for React components and integrate the frontend with Java REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Java backend development (85%)
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Core Java and J2EE
  • Build backend services and RESTful APIs with Spring Boot and Spring MVC
  • Implement microservices architecture and scalable backend components
  • Use Hibernate/JPA for persistence and database integration
  • Write optimized SQL queries and work with relational databases
  • Apply exception handling, logging, debugging, and performance optimization
  • Develop unit tests with JUnit and Mockito
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical solutions
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and application design
  • Follow secure coding practices, coding standards, and Agile methodologies
• React frontend development (15%)
  • Develop and maintain React.js components
  • Use React hooks, functional components, and basic state management
  • Integrate React with Java-based REST APIs
  • Perform minor UI enhancements and bug fixes
  • Support frontend troubleshooting

Requirements

• 4–8 years of overall software development experience
• Strong hands-on Java backend development experience
• Working knowledge of React.js for frontend enhancements and integrations
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
