Description

Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable enterprise applications. The primary work is Java backend development with a smaller share of React frontend tasks for UI components and integration with Java REST services. The role also includes technical leadership through design input, code reviews, mentoring, and ensuring secure, reliable, high-performance delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Core Java and J2EE
• Architect and implement backend services with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework
• Build and maintain microservices-based applications
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
• Implement and use Hibernate/JPA for persistence and database integration
• Design database schemas and optimize complex SQL queries
• Apply design patterns, coding standards, and best practices for maintainable code
• Perform code reviews; identify performance bottlenecks and drive technical improvements
• Troubleshoot complex application issues
• Ensure application security, scalability, performance, and reliability
• Develop unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
• Develop and maintain React.js components (functional components, React Hooks, state management fundamentals)
• Integrate React frontend components with Java-based REST APIs
• Handle UI enhancements, frontend bug fixes, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless application integration

Requirements

• 7–10 years of overall software development experience
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java backend development
• Experience designing and developing enterprise-grade applications
• Working knowledge of React.js for frontend enhancements and integration
• Experience in technical design, code reviews, and mentoring junior developers
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
