Description

Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications with React / TypeScript / JavaScript and backend services in Java 21 using Spring technologies. Build REST APIs and event-driven integrations with Apache Kafka, optimize database interactions, and ensure secure, high-quality code through testing and reviews. Support deployments and troubleshoot issues using logs, monitoring, and Elasticsearch while working in an Agile/Scrum international team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain React-based frontend applications using TypeScript and JavaScript
• Create backend services in Java 21 using Spring Framework components (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Integration, Spring REST)
• Design and develop REST APIs and platform integrations
• Build event-based integrations using Apache Kafka
• Create and optimize queries and application interactions with relational databases
• Write unit tests with JUnit and participate in code reviews
• Ensure code quality and security and remediate vulnerabilities identified during security analyses
• Build applications using Maven; support deployments and maintenance for environments using Tomcat, Argo, and Rancher
• Diagnose technical issues using logs, monitoring, and Elasticsearch
• Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with other program teams

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development, including practical full-stack application experience
• Very good Java knowledge (preferably Java 21)
• Practical knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot plus Spring MVC, Spring Integration, and Spring REST components
• Very good knowledge of React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs
• Practical experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven integrations
• Knowledge of relational databases and creating/optimizing queries
• Experience creating automated tests, including unit tests with JUnit
• Knowledge of Git and experience with code reviews
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
• Knowledge of secure software development practices and code quality
• Independence and ability to collaborate in an international cross-functional team
• Very good English proficiency
• Experience with Maven and Tomcat-based environments
